It’s never too early to start training. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or walker, or just getting started, getting a jump start on your training will ensure that you reach your goals safely and enjoyably.

Our low-mileage run-walk approach is proven to increase speed and endurance and dramatically reduce the rate of injuries.

Run for Hope offers training via The Galloway Method, developed by Olympic marathoner Jeff Galloway. This includes alternate intervals of running with shorter intervals of walking called “walk breaks,” depending on your running pace (e.g., walk 2 minutes, run 1 minute). This has been proven to increase speed, endurance, and recovery and reduce the rate of injuries dramatically.

Our training program begins on January 7 and lasts for 16 weeks. Click HERE to view and print the training schedule.  Our team members that are local to the Nashville area can join our FREE weekly training runs on Saturday mornings beginning January 7.  If you live out of state, you can use this schedule as a guide for your own training.
